Transient analysis: objectives, methods and application

Description

The application of large computer codes to transient analysis in nuclear reactors is a fundamental task in the different nuclear fields: design, licensing and operation. This presentation intends, after giving a brief introduction about the matter, to explain some basic concepts and to summarize the experience accumulated in our research group which dedicates to the development and application of computer codes for transient analysis.
