Reactions of recoil 18F atoms with gaseous C6HF5 and C6H5F

Description
The reactions of 18F recoil atoms, produced via 19F(p,pn)18F, with gaseous fluorobenzenes were studied. The organic yields depend on the total dose (0-107 Gy), but the relative yields of 18F-for-F and 18F-for-H replacement and the o,m,p distribution in C6H5F are independent of the dose. (author)
