Phase transitions in carbides, nitrides, monoxides of transition metals and defects of their structure

Description
Graphical composition-properties dependences of carbides, nitrides and monoxides of transition metals (Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Hf) are plotted and analyzed on the experimental results of multiple works. The earlier unknown reqularity of nonadditive change in thermodynamic, physical, chemical and mechanical properties of these compounds, which is expressed in fractures, maxima and minima of noncurve composition-properties dependences, conditioned by phase transition multitude in the homogeneity area, determined through structure defectiveness, is established. 11 refs.; 4 figs
