Phase formation in ZrO2-HNO3-H2SO4-KF-H2O system

Description
Phase formation was studied in the ZrO2-HNO3-H2SO4-KF-H2O system at ∼ 20 deg C in solutions, containing 2-13 mas.%, of ZrO2 by cross section with mole ratio HNO3%H2SO4=1%2 and H2SO4%Zr, equal 2 and 4-5. Fluorozirconates K2ZrF7, K2ZrF6, KZrF5xH2O as well as fluorosulfozirconates were released. Chemical, crystal optic, X-ray diffraction methods and IR spectroscopy were used for identification of compounds
