Metal screen antenna for heating a plasma

Description

This invention relates to an antenna for heating a plasma. It can be used in the design of plasma sources, particularly those for use in thermonuclear facilities or with devices for studying the conditions for achieving such fusion. The most promising heating methods use intense beams of neutral atoms or great amplitude high frequency or UHF waves. This invention comes within the scope of the second family of methods and concerns a component called 'antenna' which enables the heating energy transmission cable from a generator and the plasma to be heated, to be coupled
