Study of D0 → π+π-π+π- at Belle
Description
Singly Cabibbo suppressed decays of charm mesons are expected to show a very small CP asymmetry, if any, in the Standard Model. Therefore, these channels provide a good probe for new physics. Spectroscopy of various decay channels in multi-hadronic states have seldomly been undertaken in the current era of large data sets provided e.g. by the Belle experiment. We present the current status of an analysis of D0 → π+π-π+π-. Preliminary results of a partial wave analysis, measurements of relative branching fractions, and CP asymmetry are shown.
