Da 1977 keine Bestrahlungsdaten für relevante Reflektorgraphite aus dem HBK-Programm vorhanden waren, wurde anhand von Hochdosis-Bestrahlungsergebnissen der UKAEA ein ''Modelldatensatz'' ausgearbeitet, der das wahrscheinliche Bestrahlungsverhalten eines Pechkoksgraphits bis zu einer Neutronendosis von 4 x 1022 cm-2 EDN darstellt. Die Eingabewerte für die ersten HHT/PNP-Reflektorspannungsberechnungen wurden diesem Modell datensatz entnommen. Im März 1979 wurde aus den sechs für den Reflektor in Frage kommenden Graphitsorten ATR-2E wegen seines guten Dimensionsverhaltens in einem Graphitvergleichstest im HFIR Oak Ridge ausgewählt und als vorläufiger Referenzgraphit für die Reflektoreinbauten festgelegt (Beschluß des HBKLenkungsausschusses vom 28.03.1979). Da jetzt mit diesem Graphit schon eine.
