Description
Advanced accelerator technology allows us today to produce large quantities of neutrons from electricity economically as efficiently as by fission reactors, but with a hugely enhanced flexibility of delivery, which resembles to that of other industrial commodities. With the new capability of transmuting tons of a vast variety of elements into another each year, the commodity neutron becomes a potential key factor in the management of the environment and the resources of the Earth.
