Description

We investigate the effect of non-radiative decay via a conical intersection on the intra-molecular torsion of para- and ortho-fulvene by means of quantum dynamical simulations. Moreover, we demonstrate that a previously proposed method for separation of nuclear spin isomers with wavepacket interferometry [O. Deeb et al., Chem. Phys. Chem. 8 (2007) 322] can be applied even if non-radiative decay competes against wavepacket interference
