Extended neutral particle diffusion theories

Description

Standard diffusion theory, based on the assumption of a linearly anisotropic angular flux distribution, is ill-suited to the directional neutral atom fluxes found in the edge and divertor of fusion experiments. Extended diffusion theories are presented which provide a better representation of directional fluxes without sacrificing the computationally simple structure of standard diffusion theory
