MHD instabilities in wall-stabilized DC arcs
Description
A helical structure of an arc at atmospheric pressure is observed in axial magnetic field. The helix moves along the magnetic field with Alfven velocity so that 1 to 15 kHz oscillations are observed. (Auth.)
