Description
In spent nuclear fuel, major contribution of gamma activity is due to presence of fission products. Reprocessed products have to meet certain specified limit of their fission product content. By using HPGe gamma spectrometry, fission product gamma nuclides in long cooled PHWR spent fuel reprocessing streams were calculated. The result was extended to LWR spent fuel reprocessing conditions to assess quality of its products. (author)
