Realization and results of personnel monitoring in the Chernobyl' NPP zone
Description
Realization and functions of personnel monitoring service following the Chernobyl' accident were described. Results of personnel monitoring for 1985-1988 are presented concerning internal and external personnel exposure. Techniques and instriments for radiation monitoring are presented. Data on the radionuclide content in critical organs (lungs) are given. It is shown that external irradiation (independently on occupation) gives the main introduction into total personnel exposure. 6 refs., 1 fig., 8 tabs
