Measurement of recoil-proton polarization in π0-meson photoproduction at an angle theta(0 = 600) in the resonance region
Description
We report measurements of the energy dependence of the P/sub y/ component of the recoil-proton polarization vector in the reaction γp→pπ0 for a pion-production angle theta(0 = 600 in the region of γ-ray energies E/sub γ/ = 0.8--1.5 GeV. The results of the measurements are compared with the predictions of various theoretical analyses
