Use of X-ray screen electrophotoluminescence in radiation testing

Description
Experimental results of the study of regularities in luminescence of standard intensifying screens and screens for X-ray radioscopy in the presence of electric field in radiation testing are presented. The investigations are carried out using experimental stand, 75Se being used as radiation source. The presence of the effects of brightness intensification and attenuation of X-ray luminescence of commercial X-ray screens during their excitation by the electric field pulse is established. Certain aspects of the observed effect application for radiation testing with the use of pulse X-ray apparatus are discussed
