A new technique for formation of sup(99m)Tc-labelled blood leucocytes and platelets
Description
sup(99m)Tc-platelets and sup(99m)Tc-leucocytes have been formed at neutral pH in presence of gentisic acid using sup(99m)Tc pretreated with concentrated hydrochloric acid and vacuum evaporation. High radiochemical purities and specific radioactivities were obtained. The complexes between sup(99m)Tc and the blood cells were found remarkably stable, and further studies for nuclear medicine applications are recommended. (author)
