The helium abundance in a globular-cluster star

Creators

Description

Spectra for the star UV5 in the globular cluster NGC 1851 are presented. No credible features other than lines of H and He were found and identifications and strengths of the He I lines are given. In particular no 0II and Si II lines were seen. It is suggested that the problem of He abundances in globular clusters needs further exploration. (author)
