Effect of structure and dissolved hydrogen on fracture toughness of Cr-Ni-Mo-V steels
Creators
Description
Results of studies of the effect of structure and diffusion hydrogen on crack-resistance of Cr-Ni-M0-V alloys are presented. Possibility of evaluating critical stress, using grain size, as applied to the process of fracture according to contrary crack propagation mechanism, was analyzed. There is a correlation between fracture toughness and the work of crack formation. This correlation dependence can be used to determine threshold value of fracture toughness according to results of determining a3 samples, saturated with hydrogen
