Description

In the course of the laser plasma experiments one investigated into interaction of explosive plasma clouds with a homogeneous magnetic field. Analysis of data and calculations based on the Hall two-liquid model of plasma enabled to determine for the first time the governing role of the plasma boundary flute instability affecting the maximum size of the cloud diamagnetic cavern and the possibility to brake its front by the field. One introduces a physical model of the mentioned effect based on the Hall effect describing adequately data of laser plasma cloud calculations and experiments. One looked into possibility to apply the obtained results to interpret data of the barium plasma experiments
