Description
The Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy is a non-destructive analytical technique, being widely used to study the different chemical elements, nutrient and radioisotope elements in various materials of the Environment. It is attached to the FESEM for elemental analysis and surface morphology study of the different materials. India is the most developed country in ayurvedic medicinal plants medicinal system. As per the guidelines of the WHO, the Apocynaceae family medicinal plants, namely Catharanthus roseus (Car), Caltrop's gigantean (Cag), Plumeria rubra (Plr), and Nerium indicum (Nei), leaves samples were collected in different places of Gulbarga district of North-East Karnataka regions and prepared the powder samples for elemental study. Here total 14 Essential elements such as C, O, Mg, Al, Si, S, Cl, K, Ca Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu and Zn out of these elements the nine are radioisotope elements likes C, O, S, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu and Zn it is useful for met biological process of plants, animals, and humans.
