Determination of the phonon state density from thermodynamical functions of crystals (white tin, antimony and tellurium)
Description
Results of determination of phonon state densities are presented for three crystals: white tin (tetragonal structure, Dsub(4h)sup(19) space group), antimony (trigonal structure Dsub(3d)sup(5) space group), and tellurium (trigonal structure D34 space group). Linear incorrect problem of state density determination from phonon thermal condUctivity is solved by the Tichonov regularization method. It is shown that inverse problem solutions, obtained for the above crystals by the given method, reveal a structure of phonon state density function with a satisfactory accuracy
