Description
The in situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements of FeSi2 revealed that the high temperature α phase is metastable at room temperature and transforms to the β phase between 893 K and 963 K. The β-FeSi2 phase transforms to the α phase above 1173 K. Their thermal expansion coefficients are calculated based on the observed XRD patterns
