Measuring method of charged particle current in cyclic accelerator
Description
A method for measuring charged particle current in a cyclic accelerator is proposed allowing one to perform this operation with high precision. For this purpose the constant pulsed voltage component at the magnetoinduction sensor outlet is eliminated using RC-chain. And then measurement of the amplitude of pulsed signal its polarity being inverse as referred to the eliminated constant signal component, is conducted. The method presented provides for a high measurement precision for both signals in the form of rectangular pulses and in case of accelerated particle cluster beam current measurement
