Effect of nitride additions on thermal properties of phosphate glasses

Description
Zinc-aluminium-yttrium phosphate glasses with varying nitrogen content (from 1.0 to 3.8 mass.%) introduced by aluminium and silicon nitrides are synthesized. It is shown that nitrogen introduction (especially by silicon nitride) even in insignificant amounts brings about changes in the structure of metaphosphate glass net and its thermal physical properties
