SMART 2008
Description
SMART 2008 (Seismic design and best-estimate Methods Assessment for Reinforced to Torsion and non-linear effects). the SMART project consists in 3 pain phases. The first phase (2007-2008) consisted of a blind prediction benchmark to assess different conventional design methods of structural dynamic analyses, including floor response spectra evaluation and to compare best-estimate methods for structural dynamic response. The second phase (2008) permitted experimental tests (with 1/4. scale model of a 3 storey reinforced concrete building) on the AZALEE shaking table. In the third phase (2009-2010) tests results at various levels of seismic excitations will be compared in order to quantify variability in the seismic response of the structure and identify contribution coming from random variables and to investigate different methods for fragility curves elaboration
