Description
A nondestructive method for the quantitative autoradiographic analysis of boron and nitrogen in a single object is described. The plastic track detectors (PTD) were used to record tracks of particles from the 10B(n,α)7Li and 14N(n,p)14C reactions. The potentialities of the method in finding the nitrogen content, as a function of boron content, in an object, using a CR-39 detector, are estimated. Application of the method to the microanalysis of individual precipitates in the structure of iron-chromium alloys is demonstrated. (author). 9 refs, 1 fig., 3 tabs
