Description

Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC), providing references to sort, treat, condition and package Low Level Waste are to be met for disposal of in the Centre de Stockage de l'Aube (CSA) operated by Andra in France. Nevertheless, some waste packages are not fulfilling one or several criteria detailed in the waste specifications. The article presents the derogation process providing flexibility for non-compliant waste packages that a producer can engaged to get an agreement for disposal according to Andra's procedure.
