Here are analyzed the consequences of the durability of the low price of petroleum. Producers countries privilege the most profitable production fields, reduce the investment in research and development; the countries of OECD increase their dependency in Middle East Countries and Venezuela. Even the development of natural gas can only increase such the price stays in competition with petroleum
