Description

E605 is a wide-aperture high-resolution pair spectrometer designed to study hadron structure and search for two-body resonances. We are attempting to run at high luminosity with an open aperture so that we can detect muons, electrons and hadrons simultaneously, with fine resolution. We have achieved complete particle identification at high Psub(T) but have found difficulty in reaching our desired luminosity. Dedication of some of our running to dimuons (with a blocked aperture) may be necessary in order to reach our luminosity goal
