Description
Registration of regional cerebral blood flow provides important new data for the investigation of pathophysiological processes in epilepsies. Further to the registration of perfusions, receptor studies are employed for the differentiation of localisation in focal epilepsies. For ultimative issues interictal registrations are supplemented by ictal recordings during the epileptic seizure. The combination of SPECT and electrophysiological registration can contribute to analysis of propagation of focal epileptic activity. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
