Energy-dispersive measurements of the Kα3, KM1, Kβ1, and Kβ2 x-ray intensities relative to the Kα1 intensity in lead and uranium

Description
Lead and uranium K x-ray spectra recorded with a specially designed Ge detector have been fitted using an accurately determined line-shape model. This provides the first accurate Ge measurements of the Kα3 relative intensity and the first reported measurement of the KM1 relative intensity. Measurements of the transition probabilities of Kβ1 and Kβ2 relative to the Kα1 line provide a much more stringent test of calculated overlap and exchange effects than earlier ratios of gross line groups
