Description

The multiple-exposure method is widely used to measure line spread functions (LSF) of screen-film combinations. However, it is not easy for everyone to use this method, because it is necessary to combine many curves obtained by individual experiments graphically. A new and useful method to measure LSF by making use of pre-exposure techniques is presented in this paper. Compared with the multiple-exposure method, the new method is simple and useful. It is shown that LSF obtained by the new method agree very well with those obtained by the multiple-exposure method. (author)
