Description

The first spectra from the U.C. Davis (n,n'x) detection facility are presented for 65.5 MeV incident neutrons on a sup(nat)Fe target. Analysis has been conducted from 14 to 24 degrees and cross section comparisons are made between (n,n'x) and (p,p'x) data at 61 MeV. Evidence of a (n,n'x) Giant Resonance (GR) has been found and the ratio of neutron to proton matrix elements has been obtained. (author)
