Description
In the present study, responses of CR-39 solid-state nuclear track detectors were examed at HIMAC accelerator, NIRS, Japan Using heavy-ion beams with energy comparable to galactic cosmic rays. Detectors exposed to (500,490 MeV/u) Fe56-, Si28- ions respectively with different angles. The objective of this study is to calibrate the passive detectors with Fe56-, Si28- ions. The diameters of chemically etched tracks of these ions can be used as criterion of charge number and energy of the track produced by these ions
