Description

There is no doubt that a hadron collider with √s approx.= 20 TeV will be an extremely useful machine in studying the substructure of leptons, quarks and weak bosons. If Λsub(h) is of the order of 1 TeV or less, the chances are good to observe substructure effects at the CERN or FNAL colliders or at HERA. However details of an underlying substructure (e.g. the spectrums of excited quarks or leptons) can only be learned with a machine such as the one studied here in which the energies of the hard collisions of the quarks, gluons and/or leptons exceed 1 TeV.
