Creators

This article contains very brief summaries of operations at three nuclear power plants. Topics covered are steam generator cracking at Salem-1, shutdown of WNP-2 due to excess hydropower, and routine startup problems at Watts Bar-1. In addition, operating issues pertinent to all nuclear plants are very briefly summarized. Those issues include sticking control rods, potential plugging of emergency core cooling suction strainers by debris in boiling water reactors, and successful testing of the Mecatiss Fire Barrier Insulating System
