2nd Vienna central european seminar on particle physics and quantum field theory. Frontiers in astroparticle physics. Program
Description
The new seminar series 'Vienna central European seminar on particle physics and quantum field theory' has been created 2004 and is intended to provide interactions between leading researchers and junior physicists. This year, 'Frontiers in astroparticle physics' has been chosen as subject. Spectacular observational progress leads us to surprising conclusions about the nature of the Universe. Cosmic concordance, a consistent picture of the Universe where the very small meets the very large, seems to emerge. In the seminar recent developments, both experimental and theoretical, are covered. (author)
