Description
An algorithm to calculate rate, temperature and concentration fields during cooling of cylindrical fuel rod located eccentrically inside a round casing tube with longitudinal flow of chemically reacting N2O4 gas is suggested. To determine temperature field analytical solutions of heat conductivity equations for the rod and shells are used. It permitted to pass from solution of associated problem to solution of energy equation only for the coolant. Calculation results are compared with experimental data. It is ascertained, that with 4-fold increase in heat conductivity of fuel and shell material irregularity of temperature on shell surface decreases by a factor of approximately 3
