Nucleon scattering on deformed even-even nuclei on specific type of nucleon-nucleus interaction
Description
The problem of nucleon scattering on deformed even-even nuclei at low energies is solved. It has been shown that on allowing for the surface character of such an interaction one may not use the adiabatic approximation which is questionable at such energies. An expression has been obtained for an S matrix element which has been employed for calculating proton scattering with the excitation of three states of an even-even nucleus target
