Description
Temperature induced shifts of neutron resonances has been experimentally observed studying low-energy resonances of Rh-103, Ag-109, Dy-161 and Dy-163 with a time-of-flight spectrometer at the Dubna pulsed reactor. The shifts observed for the first time, are regarded as an analogue to the second-order Doppler effect in Moessbauer γ-ray spectroscopy. (author)
