Description

An applying of the eddy current testing method for local search for defects in fuel rod cladding of fast reactors is considered. Special requirements are based on the necessity to implement a series of installations for the study of fuel rods which are based on the principles of the express test. The method successfully detected surface, internal defects and defects on the inner side of the shell. An experimental installation of eddy current fuel rods has been created

Рассмотрен вариант использования вихретокового метода контроля для локального поиска дефектов в оболочках твэлов быстрых реакторов. Особые требования основываются на необходимости реализации комплекса установок по исследованию твэлов, действующих по принципу экспресс-теста. Методом успешно обнаружены поверхностные, внутренние дефекты и дефекты с внутренней стороны оболочки. Создана экспериментальная установка вихретокового контроля твэлов
