Description

The synthesis of a novel Tc-99m-labelled fatty acid, bis(2-methyl-2-mercaptopropane)-16,17-diaminoheptadecanoic acid (BAT-PDA) as a potential SPECT heart imaging agent is described. Preliminary biodistribution data in rats suggest that Tc-99m BAT-PDA may not be suitable for heart imaging. (author)
