Description

The kinetic equations which should take into account the second principle of thermodynamics are established by breaking the past-future symmetry of the B.B.G.K.Y. system by means of an hypothesis of statistical character. The author shows that another way exists, based on the notion of dissipative forces and on the resulting non-Hamiltonian dynamics. The Boltzmann and Fokker-Planck equations are thereby recovered
