Neutron REM counter

Description

High sensitivity, light weight 'neutron rem counter' was developed by using 3He proportional counter. It was confirmed that the response to neutron energy from thermal to 8 MeV is well fitted to the ICRP-21 rem response. The neutron sensitivity of this is 50 cps/mremh-1 and the weight is about 6.5 kg. This report also gives on outline of neutron dose measurement. (author)
