Description

The VIII International Workshop on Photon-Photon Collisions was held at Shoresh, Jerusalem Hills, Israel on April 24--28, 1988, as part of a regular series of meetings, devoted to two-photon physics, which started 15 years ago. Ninety-nine participants from 12 countries attended the Workshop, 46 contributed papers were submitted, covering all main topics related to two-photon interactions: resonance production, exclusive final states, structure functions and total cross-section, QCD and inclusive hadron production, two-photon physics at future colliders, related processes and two-gauge-boson physics. The Workshop consisted of two parts: 41 contributed talks and experimental reports have been presented, followed by 15 invited talks which summarized the important new developments in all main topics and also gave a general picture of the state of affairs
