Description
The system is described for pulse magnetic commutation of the proton beam in the I-2 linear accelerator. The system intended for alternate rejection of the accelerated particles into three channels consists of pulse magnets and thyristor current pulse generators. The generators provide production of the unipolar current pulses in the load, without reversal of the voltage polarity on the capacitor. The generators produce the current pulses of up to 1 kA. The stability of the current amplitude amounts to 5.10-4
