Angular dependence of the superexchange interactions Cr3+-O2-Fe3+ in orthochromites
Description
The application of the Moessbauer effect is described in a study of the hyperfine fields of the 57Fe and 11+H9Sn nuclei. Moessbauer measurements were performed using 57Co in Cr and sup(119m)Sn in Pd sources, respectively. Temperature dependence of the hyperfine field of the 57Fe nuclei in Fe:RCrO3 (R = La, Nd, Y) samples is presented. Also given are angular dependences of the Cr3+-O2--Fe3+ superexchange interaction parameters and of the superexchange induced local fields of 119Sn in Sn:RFeO3 and Sn:RCrO3 (R = Lu, Y, La) samples.
