Charged-particle-beam fusion reactors
Description
The Nuclear Engineering Research Laboratory and the Dept. of Physics, Nagoya University, discuss the light ion-beam fusion reactor. The framework of a feasibility study of heavy-ion-beam fusion is being considered, and energy cost analysis, conceptual design of the HIBLIC-I, and an experimental program are discussed. A table shows the parameters of UTLIF(2) and ADLIB-1 light-ion-beam fusion reactors. A blanket design is given of UTLIF(2) and major parameters of HIBLIC-I are presented
