Description
The ionized gas in NGC 5236 was studied by spectroscopic means. The radial behaviour of the line ratios [NII]/[SI], Hα/[NII] and Hα/[SII] suggest a real nitrogen overabundance in the central regions of that galaxy. (orig.)
