Description

We discuss the recently observed excess of high lepton momentum transfer, Q2, neutral current deep inelastic scattering events at HERA in the light of supersymmetry with broken R-parity. We find more than one possible solution. We consider the possibilities for testing these hypotheses at HERA, the Tevatron and at LEP. One lepton-number violating operator can account for both the HERA data and the four-jet anomaly seen by ALEPH at LEP. (orig.)
